Terms of Service

GamerHosts ("GamerHosts", "we", "us") is a platform for hosting and competing in online gaming tournaments, operated by Girard Media. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

If you are using GamerHosts on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use GamerHosts. The service is not directed to children under 13.

You agree not to:

Hosts are responsible for the events they run, including their rules, prizes, and conduct toward participants.

• ▸Cheat, exploit, collude, or otherwise undermine the integrity of any competition.
• ▸Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, hosts, or staff.
• ▸Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• ▸Access the service through automated means except via our documented API.

Some features — including host plans and add-ons — are offered as paid subscriptions. Fees, billing intervals, and what each plan includes are shown at the point of purchase.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Where an event offers prizes or charges entry fees, the host sets those terms. GamerHosts provides tools to track and process payouts but is not the guarantor of any prize unless expressly stated.

You are responsible for any taxes arising from prizes you receive.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (team names, logos, messages, and similar). You grant GamerHosts a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service.

The GamerHosts name, logo, and software are our property and may not be used without permission.

GamerHosts integrates with third-party services such as Discord and game-platform accounts. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GamerHosts and Girard Media will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

You may stop using GamerHosts at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for other users or the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
